Cancelling a booking you made.

Plans change — we get that. Here's exactly what happens, step by step, when you cancel a confirmed booking on GÜÜR.

    Open the booking you want to cancel

    Go to your dashboard, tap "My bookings," and choose the one you can no longer attend. Each booking shows the host's cancellation policy at the top.

    Tap "Cancel booking"

    You'll see exactly what you'll be refunded based on the host's policy and how close you are to the event date — no surprises, no maths in your head.

    Tell us why (optional, but it helps)

    A one-line reason helps us improve hosts and the platform. Nothing you write here is shared with anyone outside the GÜÜR team.

    Confirm the cancellation

    Once you confirm, your booking is released and the host gets notified instantly. The slot becomes available for someone else to book.

    Get your refund

    Refunds are issued automatically to your original payment method. Most show up within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank.

The four policy types

Hosts pick one of four cancellation policies when they list their space. The exact refund amounts are shown on every booking before you confirm payment.

  • Very Flexible — 100% refund up to 24 hours before the event.
  • Flexible — 100% refund up to 7 days before the event; 50% from 7 days down to 24 hours; no refund within 24 hours.
  • Standard 30 — 100% refund up to 30 days before the event; 50% from 30 days down to 7 days; no refund within 7 days.
  • Standard 90 — 100% refund up to 90 days before the event; 50% from 90 days down to 14 days; no refund within 14 days.

In every case the GÜÜR processing fee (5% of the subtotal) is non-refundable, and any separate cleaning fee is refunded in full if you cancel before the event.
